Here we start exploring Povray's julia fractal.

Again the test series here shows: the surface pattern changes revealing more details.

 

I used a cube with a radial texture partially transparent for the cut and although applying difference the cut produced a ghost image (see image in row 4 right and images in the last row)! Quite strange I might say.
