Povray Lsystem2D Gallery 3 |

Most of the plant-like structures on this page were described by P. Prusinkiewicz and A. Lindenmayer [P&L] (and by P. Prusinkiewicz and J. Hanan [P&H]). Although 2 dimensional - more like gras in a herbarium - the Lsystem was used to simulate the growth of plants and trees. Here I tried to reproduce some of the interesting structures. Note: By request I added some of my pov-files for those who are interested. If you want to use these files comment the last 2 items within the L_Draw brackets. Otherwise Povray will complain. |
